One year ago, late into a Sunday evening, Disdain was born to a handful of members who decided it was time to pursue other avenues and options within the World of Warcraft. Against all the odds and expectations, we have not only survived our first year, we have flourished and founded a solid casual raiding guild with a tight knit family environment.

I just wanted to take a moment to say Happy Birthday/Anniversary to everyone involved with the Guild. It really has been an exciting year to watch us grow from a small group of folks trying to carve out a piece of land into a reliable raid force pushing through Ulduar at a steady, comfortable and progressive pace.

If there's one thing I love about this guild more than anything else, it's the family environment. When you log into the game, you're guaranteed that at least 1 or more people will say hello to you, no one's going to start bitching you out, calling you a "failbad" or trying to use guild chat as their own personal trade chat. The family environment prevails above all else. I believe our extremely low turn over rate speaks for itself.

I'm very glad to have played with each and every one of you though out the last year working through countless raids, world events, dungeons, levels, or hours of just sitting around some major city chatting it up.

Here's to one year in the past, and to many more to come!

Time flies when you're having fun.
